Course information

This diploma course is aimed at anyone who already holds a recognised anatomy, physiology and pathology diploma or you can do ours first. There are four modules to complete all using our unique portfolio system for coursework. You will also need to complete three 2 day workshops, which you can attend with a group or I can arrange directly with me on a 1-1 basis, ideal if you want to come and train from overseas. You will also have to complete a final theory and practical exam and an independent CHP examiner will assess you. This will form part of your 3rd practical.

 

If you are a Chiropractor, Osteopath or Physiotherapist, there is a condensed version of this course for medical health professionals. You need only complete one module and attend two practical sessions.

Cost

If you already hold a recognised Anatomy & Physiology Diploma, please email us a scanned copy or photo of it and if it is set at level, then you will only need complete the 4 therapy modules and the practicals. There are 6 practical days to include your final practical exam (there is no theory exam - only coursework and case studies). The full cost in this case would be £1000. If you also need A&P, then the course costs are £1300. There is an additional exam fee for practicals and A&P at £50 each.

• Working with other healthcare professionals as a Neuroskeletal Re-Alignment Practitioner

• Reviewing the musculoskeletal system of the vertebral column and thoracic cage

• Reviewing the Nervous system in relation to the vertebral column

• Back pain; an overview

• Disc Pathology and other causes of back pain

• Surgical procedures for back pain

• Congenital deformities

• Spinal cord injuries

• Client History Sheet and taking the case

• Postural Analysis

• Aftercare advice given to back pain sufferers

• Arthritis Management

MODULE 3

• Review of the musculoskeletal system of the shoulders and neck

• Review of the nervous system of the shoulders and neck

• Exploration of pathologies relating to the shoulders and neck

• Exploration of pathologies relating to the arms, elbows, wrists and hands

• Rehabilitation: Exercises to strengthen the muscles and improve and maintain alignment

• Understanding Yoga and Pilates

• Using remedial massage to support NSRT

• Review of the musculoskeletal system around the skull and jaw

• Review of the nervous system relating to the brain and jaw

• Exploration of brain injuries; types and effects

• Exploration of neurological disorders

• Understanding the causes of migraines and headaches

• A review of the musculoskeletal system of the knees, ankles and feet

• A review of the nervous system supplying the knees, ankles and feet

• Study of knee, ankle and foot pathologies and their causes

• Study of total knee/hip replacements (prostheses)
