Aromatherapy & Massage in the Care of the Elderly (online CPD course)
This course has been designed specifically as continuing professional development for clinical massage therapists and aromatherapists who would like to extend their practice and specialise in this area. The course will give advice on how to approach common situations, explore the benefits of therapeutic touch in the elderly and give you useful tools to help you contact residential care homes with statistical information on health benefits using these therapies. You will need to send us a copy of your qualification if you are not a CHP member as the pre-requisite for this course is that you hold a recognised diploma that meets the national standards for massage therapy and or aromatherapy.
It also forms one of the Modules of our level 5 upgrade aromatherapy diploma but can be undertaken as a stand alone CPD course. The certificate is issued by Complementary Health Professionals following successful completion of set coursework.
It is an online course supported with videos and there is coursework to complete in order to gain the certificate. You will gain 12 CPD points from Complementary Health Professionals.
